Sharḥ al-Tawḍīḥ, [1700] / Khālid ibn ʻAbd Allāh al-Azʹharī.

Manuscript on Arabic grammar by Khālid ibn ʻAbd Allāh al-Azʹharī (d. 1499), an Egyptian grammarian and philologist, being a commentary on al-Tawḍiḥ (i.e. Awḍaḥ al-masālik ilá Alfīyat Ibn Malik) of ʻAbd Allāh ibn Yūsuf ibn Hishām (1309-1360) a prolific Egyptian scholar and grammarian, itself a commentary on the famous Alfīyah of Muḥammad ibn ʻAbd Allāh ibn Mālik, d. 1274. Copied on Monday, 17 Muḥarram, 1112 (4 July, 1700) by Muḥammad ibn ʻAbd al-Muʻizz al-Babāyī, probably in Egypt, from the original copy written on 9 Dhī al-Ḥijjah, 896 (13 October, 1491).
